Across the world, a growing number of Community Connectivity Providers (CCPs) are successfully connecting those who have historically been unserved or underserved by traditional operators. This report, co-authored by Connectivity Capital, the Association of Progressive Communication (APC), the Internet Society (ISOC), and Connect Humanity analyzes the operating models and financing mechanisms that can support the sustainability and growth of CCPs. It is designed to help those who build and fund broadband infrastructure identify and support sustainable solutions that can expand connectivity and bridge the digital divide.
